A. Sales Tax

We are required to charge current local and state sales tax for items shipped to customers in the state of Missouri.



B. International Orders.

While we are happy to make as many of our products available to our international customers, we currently do not ship exotic leather items internationally. This is mainly due to the differing policies and permit fees and requirements in each individual country regarding the import of exotic leather goods.

We can not ship Alden shoes internationally.



C. Shipping

We traditionally ship our products in the continental U.S. via UPS Ground Service.

Shipping charges are as follows:

Shipping to US addresses– We charge current UPS rates. We are unable to post charges here due to variables such as location, weight, etc.

Expedited shipping (2nd day air, overnight) available at extra charge.

UPS does not ship to PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.

Shipments to addresses outside of the United States – We charge current UPS shipping charges. We are unable to post charges here due to a wide variance in shipping charges to different countries and in shipping, packaging, and handling charges.

PLEASE NOTE: THE CUSTOMER IS WHOLLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL CUSTOMS FEES AND/OR CHARGES. THESE ARE CHARGED BY THE INDIVIDUAL RECEIVING COUNTRIES, AND ARE IN NO WAY CONNECTED TO RENNERS BOOTS AND SHOES. THESE CHARGES ARE NOT SUBJECT TO REFUND IN THE CASE OF A RETURN.

Please keep in mind that other factors such as holidays, weekends, sales, and product or component shortages may affect delivery.



D. Product Availability

We try to keep a large variety of our boots, shoes, accessories, and other products available for immediate shipment. However, due to the large selection of products, sizes, colors, and other options that we offer, it is impossible to have every order shipped immediately.

If a product is in stock, it will arrive within approximately 5 – 7 working days. If a product is not in stock, shipping time will vary. We will contact the customer to inform of an estimated delivery date.

Please keep in mind that other factors such as holidays, sales, products or component shortages may affect shipping times.



E. Return/Exchange Policies

At Renner’s, we pride ourselves on offering products of high quality and workmanship as well as offering a high level of customer service. We have what we believe to be complete and fair policies regarding the return of our boots, shoes, accessories, and other products. Products may be returned for the following reasons:


  1. Manufacturing DefectsA product may be returned as the result of a defect stemming from the original manufacturing process. Examples may be things such as a cut or split in the leather or skin, nails or pegs coming through the insole, or loose stitching. Scars or markings on the skins or patterns that are slightly different from the left to the right foot are NOT considered defects and returns cannot be made for these reasons. A customer should realize that products made from exotic skins or leathers are coming from animals that live outdoors. As humans do, these animals develop distinctive marks, patterns, and scars on their skin. The manufacturers make every attempt possible to use unblemished skins, but perfectly clear skins are rare.Defective merchandise that has been worn may be returned for exchange. Products that have failed as the result of normal wear and tear and do NOT have defects, or as the result of abnormal usage or abuse are ineligible for return.

  2. Wrong Size Customers should know the size required for the particular brand or style of product before placing an order. However, if a size you received does not fit, the item may be returned for exchange of a different size, or for a refund, as long as the item has not been worn or used. In the case of a refund, the customer may be responsible for possible restocking and reshipping fees. If a customer receives an item that is the size he or she normally wears in that particular item and it still does not fit as result of an error in sizing by the manufacturer, we will ship a replacement of the same size at no cost.We charge a standard restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price of the returned item. Shipping charges are not refundable.In some cases, the restocking fees may be waived. Waiver of these fees is at the sole discretion of Renner’s Boots & Shoes.

  3. Just Did Not Like The Product If a product just does not appeal to the customer once they see it in person, it may be returned for exchange or refund as long as the product has not been worn or used. Restocking fees will apply.Every return will be evaluated individually and proper steps will be determined by Renner’s Boots and Shoes. We will contact the customer to discuss the situation, and to come to a fair solution.To return an item you must contact us for return authorization. We will not process any returns without authorization. Returns will be evaluated by Renner’s Boots and Shoes to determine validity of return. In most normal cases, we give the customer choice of re-order, exchange or refund. We do, however, reserve the right to deny return of a product. Merchandise must be returned in its original box/packaging and must be in new, unworn, and salable condition. Merchandise that has been altered in any way cannot be returned.CLOSEOUT OR CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE. ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON CLOSEOUT OR CLEARANCE ITEMS.



    ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 45 DAYS OF RECEIVING SHIPMENT.

Some items may have been sent to the customer directly from the manufacturer. These must still be sent to Renner’s Boots and Shoes. DO NOT SEND MERCHANDISE BACK TO THE MANUFACTURER!

Returns must be shipped via UPS or comparable insurable shipping method and must include all original tags and paperwork that accompanied the item originally. Please insert a letter with your personal info, including daytime contact method (work phone, e-mail, etc), and stating the reason for return.
